It was this passion that led him to purchase and restore the historic House of Shields location in Downtown San Francisco.
After starting a family he sold the bar and grill, committing to a career in historic property sales. Through expert knowledge, hard work and dedication he built a sold reputation in the real estate community. He has been honored to represent such significant properties as the Phelan family carriage house, The Mint Building, the Merchant Exchange, the Dahl-Beck building, the Haas candy factory and has closed over 500 sales and lease transactions.
A long time homeowner in Alameda, John-Michael is a highly recognized community leader facilitating civic and social events - including Red Cross blood drives, Holiday Turkey Drives for Alameda Food Bank, Toys for Tots for the Alameda Fire Dept., small business cash mobs, a traffic safety initiative and a town hall meeting.
